Tuesdays, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21 and 5/28- Glass Plates in a Stained Glass Panel with Jennifer Curry

Two classes offered daily 1-4 PM or 4:30-7:30 PM

Ages: 18+

Minimum- 2 Maximum-6 per class

The class will make a foiled glass panel no larger than 20"×20". The panel will use a plate or dish as the centerpiece of the panel. Thus these students will be required to design a unique pattern from scratch based on the dish used for their panel. This course will be 4 weeks in length.

In this Intermediate level stained glass course, the student will use the foil technique and a dish/ plate as their centerpiece to create from scratch a one-of-a- kind stained glass panel. You will be able to bring and use a plate/ dish of your own (based on feasibility evaluated during the first session with the instructor), or purchase one during the first session (ranging from $3 - $15). You will create your own pattern while continuing to grow your skills of scoring, breaking, grinding, foiling and soldering. Panels will not exceed 20”x20”. Come and enhance your skills and continue to learn a new glass technique while making a lifetime treasure to enjoy.
