**July option** This is an introductory figure drawing class scheduled in conjunction with the Thomas Hart Benton mural exhibit at the ONCRC during June and July. It will teach participants the basic elements of figure drawing with a live, experienced artist model, instructed by Autumn Wofford.

About the event

This is an introductory figure drawing class scheduled in conjunction with the Thomas Hart Benton mural exhibit at the ONCRC during June and July. It will teach participants the basic elements of figure drawing with a live, experienced artist model. Participants will learn how to approach the human form, learn and practice sketching techniques, and receive constructive feedback. The atmosphere will be process oriented, non-judgmental, and tailored to learning goals. All artists and artists-to-be ages 18 and up are encouraged to participate. If you have ever wanted to practice like the professionals, join us in this introduction to figure drawing class.

PS: You only need to bring yourself, but are welcome to bring a drink and snack. (adult beverages only for those 21 and over). We'll be working with charcoal, which is messy, so dress accordingly. The cost covers the model, all materials, and instruction.
