One-day Outdoor (Plein Air) Oil Painting Workshop

9:00 am-4:00 pm with an hour break for lunch.

Come learn about the fine art of capturing nature’s beauty while painting onsite.  Professional and award winning artist Marty Coulter will share tips and techniques to work quickly and loosely to complete one or more acrylic or oil paintings in a short amount of time in order to capture the spontaneity, beauty, and feeling of the moment.

“I’ll start with a one-hour demonstration painting while I discuss materials and techniques. We’ll all paint until noon, while I offer advice and corrections individually.  During the lunch break, I can give helpful critiques to previous works you may bring.

The final three hours are to either continue your morning painting, or better still, a new one with a different view or subject.”

Cost: $150 per person/ 6 hours

Easels, canvases, basic oil painting supplies, and lunch will be provided.  We will email you a list of extra supplies you can bring if you like.
