Sew a Canvas Tote Bag with Recessed Zipper

Who can’t use an upscale tote bag?  This water-resistant canvas bag is fully lined, lots of pockets, and sports a recessed zipper on top.

Bring your sewing machine. Students should know how to operate their machine to sew straight stitching.  Please bring your favorite scissors, rotary cutter, (with new blade)/mat, marking pen/chalk, and clips.  You will need black and white thread, denim or jeans sized needle (size 16-18). If you have a travel iron-mat, please bring it along.

Provided:  A variety of options for fabric, lining, webbing, zippers, zipper pulls, zipper ends, stabilizer, interfacing, double sided basting tape, and purse feet.

After completing this class you will be able to design your own bag!
