Friday, May 31, 2024
7:00 am-: The USA Tours bus will be in the Creative Arts Center Parking Lot - 204 S. Main Street, Salem, MO. (Beside the
ONCRC with the new mural) ready to load at 7 am. (Don’t be late) Bring snacks and money for food.
Late Lunch in Bentonville: (lunch is on your own)
1:00 pm- arrive at Crystal Bridges Art Museum of American Art in Bentonville, AR. This is a world-class collection of
American art, stunning architecture, and 120 acres of Ozark forest with five miles of trails. Admission to the museum is
free. There is a Frank Lloyd Wright home on sight and self-guided tours are free/ guided tours are $12/person plus tax.
4:30 pm- Load the bus and drive to check into our hotel at Comfort Inn/Crystal Bridges. Drop off luggage.
5:15 pm- Drive to Old Downtown Rogers- Eat dinner at your choice of restaurants and take in the sights and shopping
opportunities of this artsy area.
8:00 pm- Load the bus to return to the hotel for the night
Saturday, June 1, 2024
7:00 am- Eat breakfast at the hotel
8:00 am- Load the bus to go to Bentonville Square, home to the local Farmers Market. Take in interesting sights such as
the 21c Museum, which is filled with local contemporary art; and unique shops around the square including Art on the
Square, which sells amazing local artwork. There are also several eateries and an old fashioned soda jerk and ice cream
shop from the 1950's.
11:00am-2:00pm- Drive to 8th Street Market for lunch - Lots to see and choose from: Bike Rack Brewing Company, Coop
Ramen/chinese, Bright Water Culinary school, a Markham & Amp; Fitz Chocolate Makers factory, Yeyo’s Mexican food with soul,
“The Restaurant”, and various food trucks,
2:00 pm: Load the bus to return to Salem
5:30 pm- Stop in Springfield to eat Cracker Barrel
Approximately 9:00 pm- Arrive back in Salem.
Cost: $80 per person, does not include the hotel room or food.
Minimum amount of attendees to hold trip is 30,and tickets must be sold by April 30th. If minimum amount of attendees is not met tickets will be refunded and the trip cancelled.There are 15 rooms blocked off that can be purchased below.
