On Monday, March 18th at 10 am will meet at the Salem Arts Center, 204 S Main St, Salem, for a short plein air primer covering supplies and process basics before caravanning over to Shawnee Mac Lakes Conservation Area just 3.3 down the road! Gathering at the fishing dock of the conservation area we will settle into the nature-scape, choose subjects for study and hone our drawing and painting skills through direct observation. Join us for an art adventure! Participants will learn an accessible method of painting outdoors with minimal supplies. We will discuss various methods of rendering subjects materially and technically. A supply fee has been included in your registration to enable the use of quality watercolor supplies for serious study.
